Planterium is an interactive sound sculpture for plants, and can be used as an interactive musical instrument. It was designed in 2021 to explore the logic of plants, its intelligence, and expressions through sound. Also, the plant's relation to its environment and to humans is explored through tactile sensation and interaction. The voice of New York-based vocal artist Nuria Divi has been sampled along with a range of other voices, to create a sound piece that creates abstract rhythms and patterns reflecting the plants being and behavior.

Planterium has custom designed plant sensors, a custom designed printed circuit board, electronics components, a machine learning model, light and a plant holder. Machine learning and Pure data is used to process the sound.
